Eiffage Energía has been awarded a new wind farm in Poland

Eiffage Energía has been awarded by Acciona Energía the construction of a new Wind Farm in Poland, a new impulse in the growing company internationalization. 

Wind Farm, which will be equipped with 11 3 MW wind turbines each one, is located west Poland, near the town of Gostyn. The Energy generated will allow the power supply for more than 20.000 houses, which will improve power security in the country and will avoid 40.000 tons of CO2 emissions.

Scope’s works include civil works and electrical facilities assembly. End of the works are forecasted at October 2015.

Others projects carried out in Poland

This Project comes to sum to the construction of another Wind Farm in Poland in 2012. Pawlowo wind farm were located northwest of Poland, in the region of Poznan. It was equipped with 53 1,5MW wind turbines. Client was EDPR (EDP Renováveis) and the project had a budget of 11 million €.

The turnkey project included both civil works and electrical facilities installation and was finished in September 2013, date when the wind farm was connected to the grid. This wind farm supplies power to 80.000 houses.
