Eiffage Energía faces an important expansion which is reflected in its employment figures

Eiffage energía has increased its workforce by almost five hundred workers, counting, at the moment, on more than 1,700 employees. Of these, more than 600 are in Castilla-La Mancha, where, in the last four years, this increase has been of more than 180 jobs.

Today, the CEO of Eiffage Energía, Jose Manuel Martinez, has presented to the Member of the Regional Government of Economy, Employment and Enterprises of Castilla la Mancha, Patricia Franco Jiménez, on her visit to the facilities of Eiffage Energía in Albacete, the Renovation and Expansion Project for Eiffage Energía’s head office in Spain, located in Albacete.

This project, which involves an investment of around three million euros, aims to improve working conditions and thus productivity, reduce costs, increase energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. It includes the complete remodelling of 1,500m2 and expansion to 1,700m2 of the existing office building, which will result in a complex with a total area of 3.200m2 and the complete reorganisation of the plot including parking, gardens and sports area, among others.

It is now 13 years that Eiffage Energía, a subsidiary of Eiffage, the fifth European group of construction and concessions has been operating in Spain, from where it centralises all its activity in the sector of electrical infrastructure, maintenance, installations, renewable energies and civil works and construction.

The continual growth of Eiffage Energía during this time has made it become one of the companies with the most potential in the country, and this has enabled it to be currently undergoing an ambitious expansion process, with now more than 25 offices in Spain, Chile and Mexico.

TURNOVER

The good data that makes Eiffage Energía a benchmark construction group is also reflected in the turnover that the company manages, which currently exceed 185 million euros. Since 2012, the group’s activity has experienced a gradual rise that puts its turnover at more than 140 million euros in Spain and more than 40 million beyond our borders. Equally significant is the rise of figures both in the public and private sectors, with more than 20 million euros in the first and more than 160 million in the second.

MAJOR PROJECTS

Eiffage Energy has undertaken large projects in each of its business lines, all under two fundamental premises: the scrupulous compliance with deadlines and “turnkey” delivery of the same.

  • Among its key projects in renewable energy stand out Quilapilún photovoltaic installation in Chile, which will be completed next February and is destined to be one of the largest plants in Latin America; the works of electrification for the railway line Medina del Campo – Salamanca for ADIF; the integral maintenance of nearly 1000 buildings belonging to the Spanish Post Office; the Poniente de Almeria and Granada hospitals; the installations for Mercadona’s logistics centre in Abrera; the Palace of Justice in La Rioja and the construction of Torre 4 Porta Firal business complex in Barcelona.
