Eiffage Energía’s new head office in Spain, located in Albacete, has several rooms named after important women who excelled in different fields of science, such as Marie Curie, who the main meeting room of the building is named after.
In addition to the discoverer of polonium and radium and Nobel Prize winner for Physics in 1903 and for Chemistry in 1911, other women such as the inventor and actress Hedy Lamarr, considered to be the inventor of the pioneering technology of Wifi and GPS, and Hipatia, considered the first female scientist in history who excelled in the fields of mathematics and astronomy, name some rooms at Eiffage Energía’s head offices.
In this way, the company wanted to pay tribute to women who have contributed to the development of science, as part of Eiffage Energía’s commitment to gender equality and the full development of each person without distinction between men and women.
