THE EIFFAGE GROUP UPDATES ITS CODE OF VALUES

Eiffage Energía works hard every day to promote its values and comply with the core principles governing the company, aiming to satisfy customers and employees alike.

In this sense, the Eiffage Group has just updated its code of values, highlighting Exemplary Behaviour, Responsibility, Trust, Transparency, Lucidity, Courage and Tenacity as inseparable values, true cornerstones defining what the company wants to be: a group guided by values, audacious and rallying around the same vision of excellence and humanism.

Making the difference is more than a slogan, it’s our calling card. A trademark that has an impact on our daily decision-making and achievements, and in the long-term, on our unique employee share ownership plan and on the values that have identified us since the Group was created.”

The CEO and Chairman of the Eiffage Group, Benoît de Ruffray, used these words to introduce the new code of values to employees, defining Eiffage’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility, its lean organisation, “the ability to work together and tackle challenges collectively, our team spirit, involved, loyal, human and united, driven by a desire to innovative and daring to set the wheels in motion. Working at Eiffage means living and conveying our values.

Six inseparable values

Exemplary behaviour. At Eiffage, exemplary behaviour is based on respecting others and this defines the Group’s values. “It is not fair to ask of others what you are not willing to do yourself.” Therefore, regardless of the circumstances, employees work ethically, listening to their conscience and strictly complying with the rules.

Responsibility. At Eiffage, each of the employees, from their individual positions, represents the Group, is committed to the Company and is responsible for the human and material resources entrusted thereto. This empowerment preserves autonomy and promotes decision-making and on-the-ground initiatives.

Trust. At Eiffage, each worker has the trust of their managers, and their support when facing difficult situations. Actions are collective and are not carried out at the expense of others. Trust is a trademark. It’s the cement binding cohesion and helps individuals to fully realise their professional potential. Trust also governs Eiffage’s relations with stakeholders and boosts long-term partnerships.

Transparency. At Eiffage, we share challenges. Everyone knows what is expected of them and what can be expected of others. Trust requires transparency. Therefore, the information provided is reliable and comprehensive, and must be sent quickly. Hiding or falsifying information is unacceptable. Similarly, each person must deal with the consequences of their actions. Errors are allowed. Making the same error again makes it an infringement.

Lucidity. Working at Eiffage means seeing and expressing things clearly and precisely, as well as being aware of our own strengths and weaknesses. This allows proper risk assessment, and the necessary resources to be made available. Lucidity provides a guarantee of attainable goals and honoured commitments.

Courage and Tenacity. Working at Eiffage means enthusiastically committing to projects, with perseverance and a tenacious attitude, but without being stubborn, and having the necessary strength to face and overcome difficult situations. Working at Eiffage also means knowing how to show courage when managing employees.
