Eiffage Energía has built Repsol´s Aguasvivas Wind Power Complex in Aragón in 9 months, in Herrera de los Navarros, Zaragoza, Spain.
The complex comprises six wind farms; two electrical substations; two high-voltage lines; and a 30KV overhead line. The project as a whole represents total power of 244 MW.
The complex has 63 wind turbines, 49 kilometres of roads and 47 kilometres of underground cable trenches. In total, 510,000 square metres of earthworks have been carried out, which is the equivalent of building three times the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.
239 people have worked on this project.
It will supply clean energy to more than 194,200 homes each year. In addition, it will prevent the emission of 170,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere each year.
