Our Management System for Occupational Risks Prevention is designed taking into account the professionalism and responsibility of our employees as well as the activities we develop: assembly and maintenance of power lines and electrical distribution components, comprehensive maintenance of buildings and industrial installations, the manufacture of metal elements and paint application and assembling of electromechanical components.
The management is committed to lead and safeguard the system for occupational risk prevention that complies with current legislation and internal procedures of Eiffage, as well as the OHSAS 18001 standard, occupational health and safety management system.

The adequacy between the employee and his/her work post through monitoring his/her health.

The training of the employees in the prevention of occupational risks.
The criteria for occupational health and safety are set out in our management system for occupational risk prevention, integrated into the company’s activities and at all its hierarchical levels. We promote a culture of prevention through the education and training of the workers, as well as in the coordination of activities with our customers and our subcontractors.
With the revision of the occupational risk prevention system we offer maintenance and continuous improvement of the prevention system, setting objectives and targets, which are periodically reviewed along with this policy.

Prevention of Occupational Risks
Through the department of occupational risk prevention we have organised, since its inception and continuously, information activities, training and planning of preventive actions in order to integrate the technology, organisation of work and the conditions under which it is performed, as well as the social relations and environmental factors.
Continuing this course and aware of its social responsibility, we continue providing the means, not only to ensure the workers’ safety, but also to effectively improve the conditions in which work activities are developed, thus raising the level of welfare and job satisfaction.
The Prevention policy that Eiffage’s Prevention Manual contains aims to promote the improvement of working conditions in order to raise the levels of health, safety and welfare of workers.
The Prevention Manual contains all the guidelines on which our Management System for Risk Prevention is based, and in which is defined, among other things, the different areas of responsibility, the way that training should be managed and how the subcontractors should bring it about in relation to Prevention.
Earlier this year, through the Occupation Risk Prevention Department, we have designed an incentive program against accidents to bring us closer to our most important goal in this matter: Zero accidents.
Awards for Excellence in Health and Safety
We have a program where we reward excellent conduct, from the point of view of health and safety at work for those company workers who are most exposed to risk.
With this, we are involving the various company managers in the task of conducting health and safety inspections for their production units, by conducting exhaustive inspections in order to reward the safest ones and to correct the conduct of those workers or groups who do not comply with the requirements for achieving excellence.
The purpose of these awards is to recognise the collective efforts of Eiffage Energía’s human team regarding compliance with security measures and reductions in local accident rates and, therefore, the national rates too.
